Meet Our Chef

Chef Eli Kozukhin

Eli was born in Russia and moved to the United States at a young age where he first started learning about food & cooking from his mother and grandmother's traditional Eastern European cuisine.

Eli grew up foraging mushrooms with his family from the woods of Massachusetts. He attended Johnson & Wales University for culinary arts alumni and began working in the local food scenes of Rhode Island and Massachusetts in 2008.

Eli later cooked at Alta Strada in Wellesley, learning about traditional southern Italian cuisine, with a focus on fresh seafood before moving to western MA and working at Johnny's Tavern.

Within a few months of working with the team, Eli moved up to Sous Chef & spent the following several years learning more about wild and foraged foods, as well as developing relationships with local farmers to showcase the seasonal bounty of Western Massachusetts.

Eli was recently promoted to Chef de Cuisine in 2021. We are so happy to have him as part of our team.
